Master Trek CLVI

In person Master Trek Chess tournaments at Durham Academy are back!

When: Saturday, March 5th, 2022

Where: Brumley Performing Arts Building, Durham Academy Lower School, 3501 Ridge Road, Durham NC, 27707

Sections: 

       LOWER (USCF Rating 1200 and lower.): Players will be grouped into sections with similar ratings or experience.

OPEN (1200+): Players will be split into groups of similar ratings. 4-12 man sections.

Ratings used.

USCF membership is required for participation. Events are rated so membership is required.  Go to uschess.org and join or renew.

USCF Over the board or Online whichever is higher.  TD reserves right to decide which ratings are used.  

Round Times:

OPEN: Round 1 12:15pm, Round 2 2:40pm , Round 3 5:20pm (or earlier if both players agree)

LOWER: Round 1 8:15am. Subsequent rounds will be paired as soon as the last game in a given section is finished.  Event will end between 11:30am and noon. 

Time Control:

OPEN: G/60 5 second delay

LOWER: G/25 5 second delay

Entry Fee:

LOWER: $25 No onsite registration.  Please enter online by 10pm the night before. 

Open: $30/$40 Early Registration ($30) ends 10pm the evening before. Late registration ($40) closes at 11:45am.
