Online Chess Tournament for Aditya Nicholas Dias Memorial Fund

Tuesday, October 21, 2025 & Tuesday, October 28, 2025

  •

Chess was an integral part of Aditya’s short life, starting from when he was just 5 years old. In spite of so many known benefits of kids playing Chess, and it being a low-cost activity, there are very few schools who have incorporated Chess into their curriculum or even as Clubs. This was one of the challenges Aditya’s parents faced as he did not have any friends or peers who played Chess, and there were barely any local tournaments in the Greenville, SC area where he grew up.

The "Aditya Nicholas Dias Memorial Fund" managed by Indermaur Chess Foundation was created by the Dias family to honor Aditya’s love and passion for Chess, and help promote awareness and start Chess Clubs in schools, libraries and community centers, especially those with financial constraints. All donations are eligible for a 100% match from Microsoft.

(*** You can donate without necessarily participating in the tournament. ***)
