(US Chess online regular rated. December rating supplement determines section eligibility. Higher of regular US Chess or regular online US Chess rating will be used. Unrated players may play in any section and qualify for top prizes only)

ROUND TIMES

All times are Central Time:

12:00 noon, 1:30 pm, 3:00 pm, 4:30 pm, 6:00 pm 

Players may take one half-point bye in any round, must commit before beginning of tournament and bye is irrevocable after the beginning of the first round. $5000 Cash Prize Fund b/200 entries U1200 and U800 entries count as 2/3 entries for prize fund calculation.

All players must use Zoom monitoring (see playing conditions)

Prizes will be sent by Paypal or mailed check to the contact listed at registration two weeks after tournament ends to
allow for fair play review of results.

PLAYING CONDITIONS

Chess Weekend Fair Play rules at http://www.chessweekend.com/chess-weekend-online-fair-play-rules/ will be observed
Games will be played online at lichess.org

Complete instructions for online play will be sent on 12/30/20.

If you register after 4 pm on 12/30, playing instructions will be sent to you at 11 pm on 12/31/20.
A Zoom practice session will be held on 12/30/20 at 6 pm

All players must use Zoom video monitoring at all times during their games. Side view showing player computer, and area is preferred.
Players must be logged in to Lichess and Zoom 10 minutes before the beginning of each round.
